Buying Diamond Bows - The New 2009 Diamond Bow Line!

September 30, 2009

Buying a Bow

One of the most important decisions you have to make when buying bowhunting equipment is what bow to buy. Here are a few tips to help you.

The first thing you have to do is to find out which is your dominant eye. You can accomplish this by doing this exercise. Choose an object in the room. Point at it using your index finger, while keeping your eyes open. While still pointing at the object, close your left eye. Make sure that you do not move your finger. Check if the finger is still pointing at the target or if it has moved. If the finger remains pointed at the target with the left eye closed and the right eye open, then the dominant eye is the right eye. Do this also with the opposite eye. Most people who are right-handed are also right eye dominant; however, this is not always the case. Knowing which eye is the dominant one is important so that you can take accurate shots.

If you are both right hand and eye dominant, buy yourself some right-handed equipment. If you are left dominant, then get yourself left-handed equipment. This becomes a problem when you are cross dominant. For example, if you are left eye dominant but you are right-handed, you can either buy left-handed equipment and learn to shoot with your left hand or buy right-handed equipment and shoot with your right eye closed. Many people choose the latter option since there are more right-handed bowhunting products available in the market.

Next, get to know the different kinds of bows that you can use for bowhunting. A good piece to start with is a compound bow, and many experts recommend this. Crossbows can also be used in bowhunting; however, these are best left to the more experienced hunters.

Draw weight is an important aspect of bows. Draw weight refers to the force that is needed to keep the string pulled in a steady manner. Bows that have higher draw weights tend to be more powerful, meaning they are able to shoot heavier arrows with a faster speed and a longer distance. If you’re just starting out, pick a bow with a small draw weight first, and gradually work from there. A good starting draw weight for most males is around 50-55 pounds. Females need something lighter, and typically use bows with draw weights of 25-35 pounds. If you get a bow with a much higher draw weight than what you can handle, you will get tired easily and you might even end up injuring your shoulder muscles. A good technique is to buy a bow whose string you can pull while you are sitting.

Aside from the draw weight, also consider the draw length. Draw length is the farthest distance that the string can be pulled. Choosing the wrong bow length can result in balance problems. Also, check the brace height, which is the distance from the grip to the bowstring. A bow with a brace height of 7-8 inches will do for most beginners.

Finally, before buying your bow, consider the price. Although it is important to invest in a good bow, you don’t have to spend your entire savings account on one. Don’t focus on brands. Look for an archery store that has a shooting lane and try using some bows –you’re bound to find one that will suit you and will fit in your budget.

The new 2009 diamond bows line is HOT. If you miss them, you will be pissed. Buy Diamond Bows now.

Stop Telling Affiliate Marketing Lies!

September 30, 2009

I hate Liars. Consumers hate liars. Telling lies kills business, ruins credibility, and reeks all around havoc on any company.

So are you a liar?

Think carefully about this question now. When you are marketing a new product or service what kind of spin do you put on it? Are your claims even marginally close to reality or do you have to put a “results not typical” disclaimer in 3 point font at the very bottom of the page where no one is likely to see it?

There is nothing wrong with hype, just keep it within reason. Do not try to use excessive hype to close a quick sale. If your product is overhyped and the claims do not jive with reality that quick sale will probably just turn into a refund and all of your work will have been a waste. The vast majority of buyers will not make a purchasing decision the first time they see your pitch page. You have to find ways to get your message in front of them more than once.

This is where the problem with telling lies or overhyping your message really comes in. If you come off as a crooked used car salesmen there is ZERO chance of that consumer coming back to see your pitch again or any pitch that you will ever make in the future.

So go ahead and use hype, but stay honest.

Now here are 4 more affiliate marketing mistakes you need to avoid:

1. Do not be lazy, Do the Tests:

I hate to break this to you, but you cannot just bring a new campaign live and walk away from it. Affiliate marketing is not the passive business many people want you to think it is. It can become a passive income stream, but initially you have to test everything for results, retool your marketing efforts and landing pages and then test again. You keep doing this until your campaign is getting the results you want from it.

2. One Article Per Month Is Not Enough:

Article marketing is a phenomenal way to drive traffic to your web pages, but a lot of affiliate marketers do not take is seriously enough. If you are only writing a couple articles a month you are really just wasting your time. Successful article marketing involves writing the right mix of quality articles in high enough numbers to get them in front of as many viewers as possible.

3. That Product Might Be Too Popular:

Popular products can be nice if you are able to get on the bandwagon right when they are released, however, if a product is too popular the competition is fierce. This greatly diminishes the chances of a web surfer stopping at your web page and actually converting to a paying customer. It is more likely that your website will be one of 3 or 4 that the consumer will visit before they land on the fifth and decide to make the purchase. Basically you will be pre-selling the product for your competition. Focus on products that are lesser known or in smaller niches and you will eliminate this problem completely.

4. Do Not Neglect the List:

As I mentioned above the vast majority of consumers will not purchase the product you are marketing the first time they see it. That is why it is crucial you create a newsletter and capture the email addresses of your sites visitors. Not doing this is the same as giving your prospects to the next website they come across promoting the same product.

I am a huge fan of simplicity in business. One of the easiest ways to make money as an affiliate marketer is by building review sites. Tap into an automated review site system and put your income on autopilot. Click Here

Article Marketing Simplified – My Top Article Marketing Secrets

September 30, 2009

There are three keys to writing a great article:

1. Make it Unique:

Be creative with your writing. Try not to repeat the same tired information everyone else has already said. If you are repeating old information try to put a new spin on it. The more unique your content is, the more likely it will be published on a lot of websites. Article marketing is to a certain extent a numbers game so getting as wide distribution is very important to your long term success.

2. Make it Targeted:

The shotgun approach does not really work with article marketing. Take for example the dieting niche. It is simply impossible to write an article that is going to appeal to every single group of people within that niche. If you write an article that does try to go after the entire crowd all you end up doing is creating something that no one wants to read. It is much better to narrow your focus down to a very targeted element of that niche and write for them. Following the dieting example your first choice could be will you write for men or women? That narrows the niche down a bit, but we can still go further. If you chose women for example we could narrow it down further based on age, based on activity level, lifestyle, etc. The more targeted your article is the greater its impact will be.

3. Make it Specific:

There are times when a very general article is called for, but to maximize your article marketing efforts try to make each article as focused upon a single element as possible. When your articles are very specific with what they are talking about, it eliminates the tire kickers and random web surfers from bothering with your writing and laser targets it towards the exact niche that you are writing for. Focused articles always outperform highly generalized ones.

When I am writing articles I like to focus on a single topic and write about it like I was preparing a series on it. Normally this means that I will be writing at least 5 articles on a given topic before I transition to a different topic. What I like to do is come up with the titles of my articles before I write them and then make notes in each article about the broad ideas and sub-topic ideas I will be talking about.

The structure looks something like this:

Topic 1 > sub-topic

Topic 2 > sub-topic

Topic 3 > sub-topic

By getting the broad ideas down all at once I know that each article will be largely unique when compared to one another. Now I have 5 very solid outlines for the article series that I will be writing. Not only does this simplify the article writing process, if I structured the articles so that article 1 builds up to article 2 which builds up to article 3 and so on … There is an excellent chance that I can get websites to publish the entire series of articles instead of just choosing one.

Article marketing does not have to be hard. It does not have to be time consuming and it can make you a ton of money. Find out how to put your article marketing on steroids and save yourself hundreds of hours of work: Click here.

Make Your Own Arrows - Start a Business!

September 30, 2009

Make Your Own Arrows

Bowhunting can be quite an expensive hobby. Making your own bowhunting equipment can help you save some money. One of the easiest things to do is to make arrows. Here’s how.

Shaft

Start making the arrow by working on the shaft. Get a log, preferably one made of cedar, pine, redwood, fir or spruce, and dry it off. Next, cut the log into squares that are a little thicker than how you want your arrows to be. Carve these squares until the edges are rounded; use sandpaper to smoothen the edges. Remember that any unnecessary bumps in the shaft can catch air and cause interference to the arrow’s flight. When the shaft is already smooth, cut a small groove at one end for the nock. Put varnish over the entire shaft to seal it and prevent moisture from damaging the wood.

Fletching

For the fletching, gather goose or turkey feathers. Take away the base of the quill and split it into two pieces. Trim the quill carefully until it lies flat on the surface. Notice the natural shape of the feathers, whether they are pointing in a clockwise or counterclockwise rotation. Sort the feathers based on this, making sure that they do not mix. Next, cut the feathers into fletches; a single feather can be divided into 2 to 3 fletches.

Use the sinew to attach the first fletch to one end of the arrow. Make sure that this fletch is directly perpendicular to the nock. Next, secure the second fletch approximately 1/3 of the way from the first one. Finally, place the third fletching at approximately 120 degrees from the first two. Encircle the shaft with the remaining sinew, still making sure that the fletching is lying flat against the arrow shaft. Use contact cement to glue down the fletching to the shaft. Next, use varnish to seal the sinew. Do some finishing touches by trimming the fletching in order to make it look as professional as you can. You can also use a plastic vane instead of feathers, which you can buy from local archery shops.

Arrowhead

To complete the arrow, you need an arrowhead to place at the other end. Broadheads are the most commonly used for bowhunting. You can get these broadheads from the local archery shop as well. Attach this at the front of the arrow. If you want to make your own, you can also do it by using fire to sharpen the tip until you form a pointed end.

Every dozen arrows that you make saves you anywhere from $5 to $10. Aside from saving you money, you can also experiment with different varieties by changing the components, such as the sizes of the shafts and the styles of fletching. Making your own arrows can thus help you find out what the perfect arrow for your bowhunting set-up is, and can prove to be useful when you’re out on a trip. The best thing about making your own arrows is that you get to have fun while learning more about your craft!

A Report And Analysis Of Veretekk

September 30, 2009

I’m going to assume that if you are not a member of Veretekk, you have at least heard of it by now.

It is a program unlike anything else on the internet. It is simply spectacular. It covers every possible tool and system you can imagine and some you’ve never heard of. It is the ultimate prize for an internet marketer in any type of business and makes everything else pale in comparison.

The trouble is that a lot of people, including me, would call it a nightmare just to learn how to use it. Even veretekk agrees with that. They make it a point to encourage new members to only sign up for free so they can access the tutorial section and study the program for at least seven days, before they make a decision to buy. Many people shy away at this point finding it all too hard.

I think they do that for two reasons. First Veretekk is not user friendly to people who lack a lot of experience. Secondly, a gold membership although it’s cheaper than most other, vastly inferior, programs, is still around one hundred dollars up front and a monthly subscription of around fifty dollars. In comparative terms, that’s not expensive at all, but it’s still a commitment a lot of people are unable to make in today’s financial environment.

At this point you actually begin to wish that Veretekk wasn’t such a great program because there’s no question that If you’re doing business on the internet this is everything you could ever wish for, that is, if it would be just a bit more user friendly. So given that premise, I thought I’d tell you how I’ve managed to tame Veretekk without any financial burden and without having to put in those countless hours of study.

You see; I have been using an ingenious system, linked to Veretekk, which runs almost parallel to Veretekk by copying most of the programs and systems in a very clever, complimentary way. You might call it an abridged version or even a training tool for Veretekk beginners, but whatever you choose to call it has all the tools necessary to a business, it is very user friendly, simple to understand and doesn’t carry a big price tag.

To me it has meant that I can make money with my existing business by using a similar product, without first having to learn a lot of difficult stuff. Then when I’m ready, I’ll know a lot more and it will be easy to slide across to Veretekk. You could call it a perfect marriage of convenience, between two amazing programs.

What I most love about all this, is that my business is running so well. I get a lot of help and support and all I ever really have to do is follow some simple, Step by Step instructions. It’s like a business for dummies yet, trust me, there’s nothing dummy about the program, or the people in it.

If you happen to be one of the few people on the planet who haven’t heard of Veretekk, you will find a link below, so you can see it for yourself. But first, here is a link to that very special program I’ve come to treasure and depend on.

4 Key Principles For Business Success

September 30, 2009

Starting a business is not easy and when you do, you are often faced with many problems and hurdles for you to climb. The market isn’t exactly healthy and the economy is in a tenuous position to say the least. What you need is key principles for business success, principles that will lead you all the way to success - because they are timeless tenets that can be applied to anything that you do. Once you have these principles in mind, of which I will give you 4, you will be able to get a clearer view on how you will structure your corporate strategies and your business structure. Hopefully, with these, you will be able to see the light at the end of the business tunnel - just a little bit clearer.

Good money management. Money is the core and the foundation of any business and without it, you won’t have anything else to do. Dollars and cents, currency; it is the basis of why you started to work for yourself in the first place. Make sure that there is a system in place where your money is being managed and you should know at any one time where it is, where it is being invested and how much you are using compared to how much you should be using every month. With a heads up view on your money and the ability to plug a leak whenever you can or reroute to another location, then your business has an extra edge to succeed.

Take calculated risks; it is the mantra of many successful businessmen, Donald Trump being one of them. Look where he is today and with the same attitude, you might be well on your way to appearing on your own TV show where you can fire people on air. All jokes aside, you should always take calculated risks if there is a potential to make money. Do so wisely, make sure you set a side an amount that you can risk and do go above it. Taking a risk doesn’t mean jumping in, study as much as you can about your next move before making it.

Value employees because they are the ones who manage the ins and outs of your daily business needs. Without them, your business can be crippled and you do not want to be in a position of a complete walkout. Be a good boss and make sure a great welfare system is in place. Listen, understand and comply - you were an employee once too and when you are able to lower yourself to that level, no matter how high up you are - then your business will be better off for it.

Last but not least, have passion for what you. Once you love your business you won’t see it as much as a job but an opportunity for you to pursue something you truly enjoy and make something of it. Love what you do and you will naturally put more effort into it. Things won’t seem like a chore and a success and failure will resonate deeper and harder with you than if it was just a mechanical job.

Baby Boomers - Work From Home

September 30, 2009

Have you ever questioned why there are so many Baby Boomers? I mean, what was going on about nine months before we all got born? Even more important, what’s happening to us today?

Have you thought about retiring? Yeah, Right! In today’s economy, are you kidding? We are probably in another “great” depression, but government “reports” don’t come out in time to help us decide. So let’s call whatever’s happening an extended recession. Okay? Back to your retirement plans. With government spending totally out of control, and all the corporate failures and downsizing, can you even be sure you’ll keep the job you have?

Maybe it’s time to go back to the way our country became great in the first place. Our forefathers started out by working from home. They plowed fields and grew crops and raised livestock. For my money, I’m convinced that we need to return to that business model. All right, maybe we can update things just a bit at the same time. I mean, this is the information age. We have computers now. And the Internet. I’m told there are 1.5 Billion people connected to the Internet today. Hmmm. I wonder if any of them might be looking for reliable ways to solve their problems? If so, then maybe… just maybe…I can figure out a way to help some of them solve their biggest problem. That’s probably money. Job security. Having enough to retire comfortably before they’re over 100 years old. Sound familiar? If you and I are facing this problem, then maybe…just maybe…others are having it, too.

All right. A work from home business offers huge advantages, especially during a recession or depression. 1) You can’t be laid off from your own home-based business. 2) You set your own work schedule. 3) You get to decide how much you earn based on how hard or how smart you work. 4) Your commute is really short and you can walk to work—typically from your bedroom to your living-room desk or dining table. 5) You dictate proper office attire—gym shorts and a t-shirt at my house. 6) Nobody treats you as though you’re 5 years old—Now, if you’re married or living with someone, this advantage may be waived from time to time. 7) You can feel really proud of yourself again—or in some instances, for the first time. 8) Plus all the other benefits you’ve ever dreamed of about being your own boss.

I’ve heard that God sometimes gently taps us on the shoulder to get our attention. When we ignore him, he may hit us over the head with something really heavy. Could it be that we’ve ignored these gentle taps for too long? Look at the S&L failures a few years ago. The Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac debacle. Bank closures right and left. Auto-company bankruptcies? An already decrepit social-security system? Tap, tap, tap. What’s it gonna take to get your attention, boomer? There are already too many thirsty fellow boomers charging across our financial desert to draw anymore water from that well. It’s almost dry. So what will you do now?

You know what? I say, to heck with government handouts. I refuse to have my family and my future depend on something that can’t be trusted—politicians. So, I took a long look at legitimate work-from-home businesses. What I found is that the person—of ANY age—who learns about Internet marketing, is making a lot of money very fast. And s/he gets to work from home. I also discovered that when you find a really good system, it’s pretty simple to learn. Internet marketing is already big, and growing every day.

Tap, tap, tap, baby boomers. Do you really think it’s smart to wait until something heavy hits you over the head? Is that what you want for your family?

How to Succeed? Copy Successful People

September 30, 2009

Are you striving to improve yourself, your job, or profession? Copying an expert is a marvelous way to master the detailed ins and outs of any new job or profession. And who better to model yourself after than someone with proven success?

What’s the most reliable way to learn a sport? Why not mimic somebody who’s good at that sport? Want to be a terrific golfer? Mimic Tiger Woods. Think about what good athletic coaches do. They show students how to perform. They point out successful movements and strategies used by other successful athletes. Can you imagine learning to play golf without first watching somebody swing such an awkward-looking club at that tiny ball?

How did you learn to walk, talk, or eat with utensils instead of with your fingers? You watched your parents. Right? You observed older brothers or sisters. Without a great deal of thought, you copied what they did. And it worked. It always does. I mean, think about it. How many people did you know in high school who hadn’t yet learned to walk or talk or eat with a knife and fork? And some of them probably weren’t all that bright to begin with. So, if you’re looking for a sure way to learn something new, doesn’t it make sense to copy somebody who’s already successful at whatever you want to learn?

You may not care for Donald Trump or his hairstyle—a matter of personal taste. But you must admit that his TV show, THE APPRENTICE, is very popular. Why do you suppose so many contestants want so desperately to work alongside The Donald? They want to learn his professional secrets. How does he make all that money? Exactly what does he do in a business deal in order to come out a winner so often? How and where does he find the deals? How does he negotiate? The contestants want a chance to observe Mr. Trump in action because they intend to copy his moves to a “t”—literally. Why? Because they want to become as expert in their business worlds as Trump is in his.

I grew up in a small town in the mountains of East Tennessee, where I witnessed significant poverty and suffering. I felt driven early in life to help people—to try to ease some of their suffering. As Napoleon Hill suggested in THINK AND GROW RICH, I developed a burning desire. My desire was to study medicine, even though nobody in my family had ever done so. Early in my medical training I realized that I had a gift for performing surgery. I also realized that a surgeon can certainly help relieve suffering. But I knew that before taking on such huge responsibilities, I’d need to be as expert at my profession as possible. I decided to specialize in a particularly challenging branch of surgery.

A 12-month internship in a top Philadelphia university hospital exposed me to various specialties of medicine and surgery, and helped me choose the specialty that intrigued me. I then searched out residency programs worldwide where I could be mentored by the most highly respected surgeons in that field. During my residency training in New York City, I observed those surgeons day in and day out. I watched their every move and copied exactly what they did—their system of delivering surgical care. After several more years of training, I was nearly as expert as these top surgeons. Equally important, I knew that I was good at what I did. Very good.

“Mindset” is crucial in any endeavor. You must believe that you can deliver the goods—the products or services of your profession. Copying someone with proven success helps instill the confidence needed to become successful. Just knowing that you’ve learned from “the best” makes you feel capable.

The combination of 1) strong desire, 2) ability, 3) specialized knowledge, 4) experience, and 5) self confidence is a winning formula in any game.

This formula works in every job or profession. Yes, you can learn from reading books or listening to recordings. You can also jump into water with no training or experience, and hope to rise to the top on your own. But the most reliable way to gain experience and confidence is to perform hands-on work at the side of an accomplished mentor. My recommendation to the student of any business of profession is this: when you have a burning desire to be successful, search out a successful mentor in the field you’ve chosen, and then copy exactly what he or she does. Mimic their moves and thoughts and actions—how they deliver their goods. Practice until you’re really good at what they do. And then share what you’ve learned with somebody else.

There are many types of suffering—physical, emotional, and financial. We all need help, especially at the beginning of our careers. In my experience, nothing feels better than helping someone else succeed. It truly helps ease their suffering, too. Also, coaching someone else makes you even better at whatever you do.

I’ve heard that if you want exactly what someone else has–then do exactly what that person does. Do you want to be successful? The solution is relatively simple. Just copy someone who’s already doing whatever you want.
